Treat yourself to an exclusive afternoon with award-winning songwriter Jenny Mitchell, followed by a selection of delicious teas and sweet treats.

With songs wrapped in wisdom and wit, this show will take you on a journey of songs and stories from Gore’s very own travel-loving troubadour.

"Jenny Mitchell is going from strength to strength,” Jesse Mulligan (Radio NZ)

Jenny is a Tui Award winning artist, a past winner of the NZ Gold Guitar Awards and was the first New Zealander to receive a nomination for Alt Country Album of the Year at the Australian Golden Guitar Awards in 2020. She is comfortable with a country twang or softly spoken ballad and is rapidly capturing fans across the globe. With recent appearances with Tami Neilson, Julia Deans and Australia’s Felicity Urquhart, it’s clear this is just the beginning for a young artist who, “knows exactly who she is and feels no need to give way,” (The Southland Times).

Tea at Three is a concept born from Jenny’s love of storytelling and her passion for a good cup of tea.

The show will be held at Hawthorn Den: an enchanting venue located a stone’s throw from the Gore’s town centre. Doors will open at 2.30pm, with the show commencing at 3pm. All ticket holders are invited to enjoy a high tea following the show.
