Alt-country artist Katie Thompson has built a 15-year career as a self-managed musician, opening for Sir Elton John, supporting Don McLean at the Christchurch Town Hall, and performing at festivals including Go Live, Tussock Country, and the South Island Wine & Food Festival.


Alongside her own artistry, Katie has worked on release campaigns and marketing projects with artists such as Kylie Price, Jenny Mitchell, Delaney Davidson, The Warratahs and more.


Her one-on-one sessions at Tussock Country Music Festival are designed to help emerging artists get clarity and confidence in their next steps.
